Credit Union ONE Davison Branch Hosts “ Donate Some Suds”

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE’S Davison Branch parterned with the Outreach East Food Pantry of Davison, to host “ Donate Some Suds” on Friday April 22 and Saturday April 23. With price increases and the need growing, hosting a laundry soap donation drive was an easy way to help the pantry and the over 200 families in the community.

Radio station CARZ 108 did a live remote with Lisa Marie from 10am until 12 noon. As a Thank You for dropping off $20.00 or more in either laundry soap or a cash donation, you had a choice of either a Outreach T-shirt or Outreach Hat. Over 83 large containers of laundry soap was dropped off for the collection.

“ In a discussion with Outreach employees about the need at this time, it was easy to see that we could help” said Branch Manager Michael Pedrin. “ Hosting the event along with having a live broadcast with CARZ 108, certainly created some positive activity and buzz for the two days”.
