Ferndale, Michigan – The Members of Credit Union ONE turned out for a free shred day held at the Macomb Township Branch on Saturday June 1st, 2019. Over six tons of paper was collected and shredded on site during the three hours, and the members generously donated $425.00 dollars to Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak.
Credit Union ONE hosts three to four shred day events a year which continue to be a very popular event. Credit Union ONE Member Ann Kondrad brought material to shred and was pleased with the event. “ Glad I finally made it to a Shred Day, so easy and a good cause”. For the two events Members donated $674.00 to Beaumont Children’s.
“Our Members realize the importance of these events, and they continue to participate and also to help Beaumont Children’s which is great” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for Credit Union ONE. “ Our Members start asking about the next shred day locations and times soon after an event ends, and often while they are dropping stuff off that day”.
