Ferndale, Michigan – A team of over 50 Credit Union ONE employees and family members participated in the 29th annual Walk for Warmth, benefiting the Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency ( OLHSA ), hosted at Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall on February 9th , 2019.
The Walk For Warmth is an annual fundraising event to promote awareness and provide support to those facing heat related emergencies in Oakland and Livingston counties through the emergency utility assistance program.
Credit Union ONE participated as a sponsor along with a team of walkers for the 12th year in a row. The event seems to grow each year as the participation level of walkers and sponsors continues to increase.
“How appropriate this fundraising walk is especially this year, with the snow and cold that we have had since the first of the year,” said John Kozich Credit Union ONE Vice President of Community Relations. “ This is a great way to help those in need, and to make an impact in the community.”
