Waterford, MI - Credit Union ONE celebrated the opening of its new Waterford Branch on August 27th, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The branch is located at 5129 Highland Road, Waterford, MI 48327, in the Waterford Plaza Shopping Center, and replaces a previous location.
“We are excited and grateful to have opened a beautiful new branch in this incredible community. Credit Union ONE has proudly served the Waterford community since the 1930’s and we look forward to being here for years to come,” stated Gary Moody, CEO of Credit Union ONE.
Noted guests in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony included Waterford Township Supervisor, Gary Wall, Waterford Township Clerk, Kim Markee, Waterford Chamber of Commerce Executive, Nikki Tippett, Senior Aid for the Waterford Recreation Center, Candace Tucker, and Oakland County Community Engagement Manager Tiffani Moncrief Luke.
A full range of banking services are offered at the Credit Union ONE Waterford branch, including deposit accounts, loans, mortgages, and an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) allowing for extended evening and weekend hours.
The Waterford branch continues to be managed by Alec Waters who oversees the branch's success, assists members with their financial needs, and manages the Waterford team. Alec has been with Credit Union ONE since 2017 previously serving as a Member Relationship Consultant Team Lead.
Construction of the branch building began earlier this year under the management of Bob Mulka of Corrado Contracting. Realtor David Long helped facilitate the property purchase.
