Ferndale, Michigan – The 14th Annual Capitol Area Credit Unions Charity Dodgeball Tournament, attracted 18 teams and plenty of talented players on Saturday April 13th at the Soccer Zone in Lansing.
Credit Union ONE had two teams of employees and friends this year, and again came in fourth place in the highly competitive day of dodgeball. Over $1,000 dollars of funds raised were going to the Lansing Family Child Services organization. “ The day was a huge success and we really had a great time in raising funds for such a deserving organization” said Stephen Dedene, Vice President of Compliance and Risk. “Everyone competed hard and we were glad to help out as an organization”.
Credit Union ONE had over 20 employees and family participate, which turned into two competitive teams. Again this year Master Media Supply in Howel provided the dodgeballs and trophies. “ As this event grows and more credit unions participate, the competition and teams get better every year” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations.
