We're proud to reward accomplished students in our area

Our investment in our communities begins with supporting our schools and their students' aspirations for higher education. We understand that the rising costs of education impact families' budgets, and we have increased our scholarship awards as a result. To be eligible for the William G. Coyne Memorial Scholarship Program,* applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Student must be a member of Credit Union ONE for at least 6 months prior to submission date (or) must have a relative that has been a member with Credit Union ONE for at least 6 months prior to submission date. The account must also be in good standing.***
  • Must live in Michigan or the following Ohio counties: Wood, Lucas, Sandusky, Summit, Lake or Cuyahoga.
  • Be a 2025 graduating high school senior.
  • Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above.
  • 30 hours or more of documented, certified community service during the Junior/ Senior year of high school ending before May 12, 2025.
  • Plan to enroll in a 4-year college, university, or accredited trade or vocational school in the Fall of 2025.
  • Employees of Credit Union ONE and their immediate family are ineligible to receive this scholarship.
  • Must turn in all required documents by postmark deadline of May 12, 2025.
